Accidents Happen

Sometimes accidents happen.
That can have profound life-changing impacts.
In 1996, I had an accident that changed my world.
I had gone jogging in the dark, fell down a ledge,
I broke my heel in a million pieces, with an MDR staph infection.
I ended up in the hospital for almost a year.
14 operations later, the doctors almost amputated my leg,
but finally ending up saving both my leg and my life.
