Pray for those responding to emergencies this weekend.

What are your thoughts about fasting?

To be honest, this is not a strong discipline for me. I know that Jesus said that fasting along with prayer is stronger than just prayer by itself.

Matthew 17:21 NKJV – 21 “However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

Psalm 35:13-14 NKJV – 13 But as for me, when they were sick, My clothing [was] sackcloth; I humbled myself with fasting; And my prayer would return to my own heart.

I believe that this is a discipline that I should cultivate
