Day after day I watch you, as you type away at the keys,
Not knowing what it is that causes you such delight.
I see your face light up, in such joy, or a scowl of frustration.
Then again, I've seen that far away look in your eyes, as you watch a video;
Or falling asleep when you should go to bed.

There are days of determination, the fingers fly across the keyboard.
There are days, though not many, that you don't even touch them.
I watch you as you read, or concentrate on a crafting project.
Wishing I could talk to you, and encourage you in your endeavors.

*the computer monitor is my constant companion, in good times and in bad. Day in and day out. This is my thoughts on its point of view.
