"no way out"

Once you start to rhyme
And the feeling is sublime
Then, try time after time

but
there is "no way out"!

Once you open a packet of chips
(and maybe have it with yoghurt dips)
You try to stop and come to grips

but
there is "no way out"

Once you drive through your byway
and on to the highway
there's traffic, you want to fly away

but
there is "no way out"

Once you start writing silly verse
even though your critics get terse
you want your lips to purse

but
there is "no way out"

Now, I beseech you
dear reader please do
Not stress about a review

unless you feel
that there is "no way out"
