Her Honor
Lily is the best she could ever be. She wants me to be happy. Cancer took her life.

One of the main things we did was puzzles. Both of us loved animals too. Helping animals would be a dream come true. I could still make that a reality. She was a kind and gentle soul. Her home was simple. Everything put away neatly. Decorations here and there. And she kept puzzles for me to play with whenever I visited. This built up to my peak of putting together a Kaleidoscope puzzle in two weeks. Round and pieces were alike. I knew I could do it. She had faith in me.

We would also spend time at the park together. Just hanging out. Maybe find some golf balls that strayed from the golf course. She would tell me helpful stories. She missed her husband. But we had fun together. Her stories were valuable. She would often help animals.

One time there was a cat in need. It had been in a car accident and the owner was moving. I accepted taking care of that cat and called it Kitty. Kitty always had patience and would catch birds despite no claws. My parents were severely allergic though. Lily loved that cat too.

Her spirit lives on and helps guide me everywhere I go. Sometimes when I go to the park or be at her hometown I would think of her. Of course, I think of her through the activities I do. She would be proud of me.
