Entry for Share Your Faith - The Universe

Vast, overwhelming, eternal;
It would be arrogant to think
We are alone in the universe,
That we somehow are its lord and master.

But are we really alone?
Are we the only ones to benefit from the wonders?
Incredulity comes to mind at the thought;
Being given such a unique gift.

When I stare out into the cosmos,
I am humbled and grateful,
For being given such a wonderous gift
Created by the Hand of God.

Whether or not we are alone,
In the end it does not matter;
For I will know as I am known,
When I step into eternity.
