Poet's Cafe - 15 lines - Lake Superior's Tomb

The cold waters of Superior,
Ebb, flow; ebb, flow;
In an icy tomb they lay.
Ebb, flow; ebb; flow.

She does not give up her dead,
Ebb, flow; ebb, flow;
One can only kneel and pray,
In the ebb, flow; ebb flow.

Superior is a relentless witch;
Those who have perished in her claws
Will find no respite.
Ebb, flow; ebb, flow.

So she was so long ago;
Still she is today.
Ebb, flow; ebb, flow.

My poet I tried to model is Edgar Allen Poe and his poem "The Bells"; I also used the story so famously told by Gordon Lightfoot and his "Tale of The Edmond Fitzgerald"
