This is a collection of poems told from fictional view points. They are not about me.

The Inexorable March
A constant struggle
to gain more minutes,
to lengthen the days,
to improve productivity.

Tick tock,
it keeps marching inexorably on,
the inherent nature of
life.

Never accelerating,
yet racing by
as deadlines approach.

Never slowing,
yet crawling by
while we wait
for news of loved ones.

The most infuriating, frustrating paradox.

Children will the hands to move faster,
envisaging a future
where possibilities are endless.

Elderly dream
of reversing the face
so that age slips away.

Tick tock,
it keeps marching inexorably on.
