Parental Time Warp

An epic time warp,
drawing on the voices
of your mother and
her mother and
her mother and
mothers ad infinitum,
culminating
in one ageless
(age weary?)
lecture ignored in
time honoured tradition
by one fed up with
being reminded,
ad nauseum,
of his potential
and his failure
to live up to it.
