Day 2

I’m not a real party animal. Never have been. I was always too busy with kids and then just working. The few I’ve been to were just too much drinking and eating, which just seemed a waste of time to me. Hubby is also not a party-goer. Plus he retires early. 9 PM and he is asleep.

Tonight it will be noisy - fireworks right outside my home from all my neighbors. And not just firecrackers - we’re talking those big ones that make your windows and whole house shake. So as soon as it’s dark, about 8 PM or so until midnight, it will be non-stop. That’s the way it was last night. Yippee. Drives me nuts. And nothing I can do about it. I just will probably stay awake, curse the inventors of gun powder and watch a video or two with the volume way up.
