Barely Another Twelve Again

Not a typical Saturday at all. Usually, Saturdays are a day of relaxing before and after I go to work. Unfortunately, I’m not going to work this weekend either because my brother and I didn’t get another car until yesterday. so, I should have had plenty of time to work on the third Novel Outline for my October Prep Challenge.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t a typical Saturday. Whether I was working or not, it wasn’t typical. Maybe that’s because I wasn’t working today either. Usually, my brother and I don’t have too much that needs to be done on the weekends. That may be true for Sunday this week. But it wasn’t for today. We had a lot that needed doing today.

It was mostly because of getting another car yesterday. We spent almost the whole day yesterday getting it, we didn’t have any time getting anything else done. I’m sure that’s part of the reason we had a lot to get done today. It’s not as bad as it reads, though. After all, I did get some of my writing done on this third Novel Outline today.

Just not as much writing as I thought I was going to get done today. After no writing on this third Novel Outline yesterday I was hoping that I was going to make up for that today. I didn’t expect to get twenty-four to thirty single paragraphs written today. But I was hoping to get about fifteen to twenty. Didn’t get quite that many today.

My average for the last few days has been twelve single paragraphs per day. Unfortunately, that’s what I barely got written today. And it wasn’t very easy to get that much done. I should have only gotten ten. But I forced myself to do at least two more. Tried to do more than that. Only I couldn’t do that. I was lucky that I got twelve of them written.

I wanted to get another three more written. But because of what my brother and I had to do today I couldn’t do it. It wasn’t as bad as it reads, though. We didn’t have a lot that needed doing. But what we needed to do took up most of the afternoon to do it. I didn’t get started on this third Novel Outline until almost sunset.

That means I only had a few hours to get any writing done on my SpaceHorrors scriptwriting/novel/short stories project. The novel part of it. So, overall, I think that I did a very good job getting twelve single paragraphs written for this Novel Outline. I was hoping to get more written. A whole lot more written. But I liked what I did get written today.
