How Doth the Busy Spider


How doth the busy spider spin
Her web with threads so light,
And catch the dewdrops, shimmering thin,
Within its pattern tight!

How patiently she seems to wait,
Her many eyes gleam bright,
And welcomes in all hapless bait,
With unsuspecting flight!
