A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Almost the Same as Friday I am going to try something new this week. Usually, I combine what I got written yesterday at work and what I have done today, but I won’t do that today. Instead, I will have two blog entries for today. The one I’m writing and posting now, and the one I will post just before midnight. Why am I trying to do it this way? Right now, it’s the same blog. It’s my ‘Only My Scriptwriting’ blog. I’m working on two separate projects right now. Both are appropriate for this blog, but one is only partially associated with it. My SpaceHorrors project is in the scriptwriting phase right now. That’s why it has been in this blog lately. That’s enough of explaining why I’m writing and posting this blog entry now. Now let me tell you about how well I did yesterday at work. I transcribed a little bit more than I thought I would, but not too much more. As my Blog Title says, I did almost the same as Friday. Friday, I transcribed seventeen numeric scenes and three Establishing Shots scenes. I also transcribed twenty scenes yesterday at work, but only two were Establishing Shots scenes. The other eighteen scenes were numeric scenes. Very similar, but not quite the same. Overall, I think yesterday was better than Friday. Why do I think yesterday was better than Friday? It’s because of the extra numeric scene. On Friday, I got seventeen numeric scenes transcribed, but yesterday I got eighteen. I know that it’s only one scene better, but it is still one scene. That’s why I think yesterday was better. The two Establishing Shots I transcribed yesterday were within the numeric scenes. What do I mean by that? I start each Act out with two Establishing Shots. Any other Establishing Shots are within the Act. Usually, they are to establish a new setting. Sometimes they are the beginning and the end of a flashback, though. I won’t be using a flashback scene too often in my scripts, but I will do it every so often. I’ve already done it once in Part One of this Movie Introduction, but I can’t remember if I did it in Part Two. As I finish transcribing Part Two, I will be able to answer that question. Overall, I think that I did very well yesterday at work. I just hope that I can continue doing that well whenever I’m working on this project. Right now, I’m only doing my transcribing while at work. That may change depending on what is going on at work and my SpaceHorrors project that I’m also working on during my days off from work. Right now, I’m able to do my transcribing at work. For as long as I can do that, I will. Sooner or later, I will probably lose that privilege. No one else at work will lose it, but I will. Hopefully, it will be a lot later than sooner, but I won’t count on that until it happens. |
