Lost - Week 29

If I could have lost you
in a world full of children
the ones you birthed
and all those you nurtured
you would have a life full of laughter
in a world of innocence

If I could have lost you
in your confident days
in your honeymoon haze
in light and love and hope
you would have a life with a future
and strong arms to guide you

I hate that you are lost
alone in a world unknown
Routine the only comfort
where even memories are gone
A life without the love
that made the world for you
