My dad thought Jamie Lee Curtis looked like a guy.
Another thing we didn't agree on.
Dad said he would support me by cosigning my credit cards.
Not so great an idea when you worked for minimum wage.
And he wanted me to be mom's caregiver.

Around five AM, mom would wet the bed.
I was wakened by dad, and I carried her soaked to the toilet.
Her diaper was wet and full of poop.
I undressed her on the toilet, and she still had to pee.
I suggested to my dad that mom needed a nursing home.

He wanted to be with her.
She had terminal Parkinson.
He had retired as the head of the English Department.
He could have afforded putting her in a nursing home.
Nevertheless, I was mom's caregiver.

I enjoyed watching TV with her.
Bob Barker and Alex Trabek were fun.
I also enjoyed Barny Miller, Taxi and MASH.
It is what it is.
