Strange Fishing Trip
Jeanette's father went missing at Holmes Lake. He went fishing and never came back. This was two years ago. Jeanette asked Cindy to go with her to Holmes Lake. Cindy had never been there and she was afraid. Jeanette told Cindy it would be an adventure. Jeanette 's father was never found. Just his boat and his car. The police returned the boat and car to Jeanette"s mother. Jeanette and Cindy were eighteen. They decided to go to Holmes Lake. They took Jeanette's father's boat and truck. Cindy was nervous.

The girls got to Holmes Lake. It was eerie and fog appeared. It was thick. There were some trees that were old and had fallen down The lake was an ugly brown with green scum. There was an eerie sounds of birds. Cindy wanted to leave. Jeanette wanted to catch some fish and look for clues as to what happened to her father. The girls unhitched the boat and got their fishing equipment. It got dark and Cindy wasn't liking this.

The girls were in the boat and used worms for bait. Cindy caught a small, grey minnow fish. Jeanette had a big fish on the line. She almost couldn't hold it steady. Cindy helped her. They tugged on it and reeled it in. They pulled out a big, blue,red and green fish. It's It eyes were red. The fish was wearing a blue stripped tie, like one that belonged to Jeanette's father.

Jeanette gasped. The fish spoke.

"My dear Jeanette. It took you long enough to find me. Give your Ole Dad a kiss and let's go home." The fish had vampire fangs.

Jeanette screamed and dropped the fish.
