Only Four More Left Now

My brother and I had a lot of things we needed to do today, and I thought it would take us most of the day to do them. Luckily, I was wrong about that too. It did take us a long time to do them. But not as long as I thought it would take. I got some writing done today.

When I first woke up this morning, I thought it would be a typical day of settling into our new place. I’m happy I was wrong about that. My brother and I had some things to do regarding our new place today. But it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.

It did take my brother and me about half the afternoon to finish what we needed to do today. That means I still had the other half of the afternoon to work on my WDC Short Story for this month. Well, not exactly half. I had about three hours to work on this WDC Short story. Unfortunately, I only got two more sections/parts written.

Why did I only get two parts/sections written today? What is the usual reason why I don’t get more writing done in a day? I didn’t know how to write these sections/parts. Of course, I knew what I wanted to write. But I didn’t know how to write them. Especially, part/section five.

Usually, it takes me about forty-five minutes to an hour to write a section/part for my short stories. Sometimes it takes me a little bit longer to write them, and sometimes it’s longer. Today it was a whole lot longer. It took me about an hour and a half for these parts/sections. Maybe a little bit longer than that for section/part five.

Parts/sections five and ten in my short stories are usually more action-oriented than my other sections/parts. So, they are sometimes harder to write. Sometimes, they aren’t harder. Unfortunately, today was one of the times it was harder to write section/part five.

What about tomorrow? Will I be able to work on this WDC Short Story? The answers to these questions are I don’t know. I know that my brother and I have a few things to do tomorrow. but I don’t think it will take too long to do them. If that’s true, I may get some more parts/sections written on this WDC Short Story.

I’m not sure how many more sections/parts of this WDC Short Story written tomorrow. But if I’m right about how much time I will have to work it, I should be able to get at least two more of them written tomorrow. It all depends on how soon I can start writing them.

Of course, I would like to get all four of the remaining parts/sections written tomorrow. But after the last few days, I may be lucky if I get two of them written tomorrow. It all depends on when I can start working on them. Whether I have two or three hours or most of the afternoon to write them, I will get as many of them done as I can.

I’m hoping for the latter. But it also depends on when I get the second section/part written. If I don’t think I can get the other two parts/sections written tomorrow, I may wait until this weekend to finish writing this WDC Short Story. After all, I don’t want just one to finish it.
