Sun Spots - Week 42

There is no need for me to understand
that the Sun is busy hurtling through space
dragging the planets ‘round the Milky Way
traveling at an incredible pace.
There’s no reason for me to have at hand
scale models of how the planets align
or calculate that giant Jupiter
tugs a bit on the Sun from time to time

I don’t need to know the cosmic plan
of each orbit or perturbation
As long as the Sun agrees to shine
On every day of my vacation
