Three More Again Today

I doubt I can get my WDC Short Story done tomorrow. But I may get most of it done with only four more sections/parts left to write for it. It all depends on how soon we return from our old place tomorrow. I think it will be about noon tomorrow. But I may be wrong about that.

My brother did it again. I didn’t know we needed to do several things today until I woke up. Luckily, it didn’t take us all day to get them done. But it was about the middle of the afternoon before we got them done. That means I only had about four hours to work on this WDC Short Story. I was lucky I got three parts/sections written today.

It should have been another section/part that I got written today on this WDC Short Story. But I had a little trouble with Part/Section Four of it. Section/Part Four took me about an hour and a half to write. I don’t know why it took me so long to write it. But it did.

It’s not because I didn’t know what I wanted to write. I did know what I wanted to write. But I didn’t know how to write it. Especially within two hundred words. It wasn’t easy. But I did it. I also had a lot of Sentence Structure errors while writing this part/section. That probably contributed to the extra time too.

Sections/Parts Five and Six didn’t take me as long to write. I did both of them in about an hour each. That’s unusual, especially with Part/Section Five. It’s more action-oriented. So, I usually have to do a lot of rewriting to keep it around two hundred words.

With Parts/Sections Five and Six, I didn’t have too many problems with Sentence Structure. But I did have a few. Mostly, I had a problem with individual words and phrases that Grammarly won’t let me use anymore. The single words I didn’t have any problem with. All I needed to do was erase them. It was the phrases I had some trouble with.

I have a lot of problems with phrases within sentences. Most of them I know how to fix now, and they don’t become a problem because I correct them before I need to fix them. But sometimes I can’t and it takes me some time to fix them, including rewriting the whole sentence again.

Because I had so much trouble with these sections/parts, I didn’t get a fourth one written. I should have started writing a fourth part/section. But I didn’t have the time to do it. Hopefully, I will find the time tomorrow to finish writing this WDC Short Story. I’m not going to count on that until it happens, though.
