Fluffy
Prompt: a non-fiction piece. Word Count: 100.
I collect many things, but one of my favorites is stuffed animals.
It started with a bunch of little dogs from the McDonald's Happy Meals, specifically Artlist International's The Dog 2004 series.
The first one Mom gave me was a pug dog, which I named Fluffy. I fell in love, bringing him everywhere with me as we moved across multiple state lines over the next twenty years.
Fluffy is now vintage. He's worn, matted, been barfed on and gently hand washed at least twice, and his imitation leather nose long since peeled away, but I intend to keep him forever.
