English Authors
Prompt: Let's see how familiar you are with English authors.
In what year did Charles Dickens die?
Who wrote Tess Of The D,Urbervilles?
What was the name of Ebeneezer Scrooge's business partner?
Who is the author of Utopia?
Who was the 19th century author of novels about England's social woes?
Do you have a favorite English author?

Charles Dickens died 1870.
Thomas Hardy wrote Tess Of D'Urbervilles.
Jacob Marley was Scrooge's business partner.
Charles Dickens, Elizabeth Gaskell and Charlotte Bronte wrote about social woes in England.
Thomas Moore wrote Utopia.

My favorite English author is Jane Austen. I write newsletters about Jane Austen, Jane Austen type stories and have written Jane Austen type Regency romance stories. I have a Jane Austen Doll on my desk, a Jane Austen sticker notebook I keep notes in. I have a Jane Austen Teapot and matching tea cups on the dining room table. I have a Jane Austen Scrapbook Treasury Book and all her novels plus Jane Austen movies. I love Jane Austen. I have my 2 published books next to her Pride and Prejudice novels and I have three copies of P&P. I consider myself a Jane Austen Historian.

I love Wuthering Heights By Emily Bronte.

There you have it. Good prompt by the way!

Original Jane Austen picture.
A third Poser of Darcy and Elizabeth. Reminds me of Colin Firth. Notice the horse.
