It’s Only One Today

This has been one of my life's worst days of my life if not the worst. And that’s saying a lot considering my last nine years. Especially, the last three years. But it has been. From the time I got up this morning until I started writing this blog entry my day has been one big problem after another.

That reads worse than it is. I’m not saying my writing is the worst day I have had. It’s just the opposite of that. My writing is the only thing that kept me going. It would have been the worst day of my life if not for my writing. Unfortunately, that didn’t help me enough.

Right after I woke up today my brother and I had a couple of things we needed to do right away. That only took about an hour and a half to do. When we got home we found out we lost our cable and internet. I thought I was going to miss another blogging day because of it.

Luckily, my second Short Story for this month is offline. So, I could work on it while my brother tried to get our cable and internet back. That took almost two hours to do. Unfortunately, it wasn’t over yet. We had to do a few other things before we got our cable and internet back.

When we got back again our cable and internet were back. It started looking better now. But it wasn’t. at least not when it came to my writing. I still wasn’t finished writing this one section/part and I knew I wouldn’t be getting both of my final parts/sections finished today.

Getting both sections/parts written today didn’t bother me. Of course, I wanted to finish writing this Short Story today. I knew that wouldn’t be happening today. and it’s all because of our cable company. The problems we had with them today are what stopped me from getting both written today.

It’s true, that while my brother was trying to get our cable and internet back I had about two hours to work on this Short Story. However, I had some concentration problems writing this part/section. It doesn’t usually take me long to write a section/part for a Short Story.

Today, it took me longer to write this part/section. I was only about halfway through it when I had to leave again. Unfortunately, I only had about an hour after we got back to finish writing this section/part. It still wasn’t easy to work on it. but I did get this part/section finished.

It wasn’t a total disaster today, though. Not only did I get this one section/part finished today, but I found out I won’t be spending my whole day at our old place tomorrow. I should be back in plenty of time to finish the final part/section of this Short Story.

I might even have the time to create and enter this contest tomorrow too. I’m not counting on creating and entering this contest tomorrow until it happens. I can’t even count on me finishing this Short Story. After all that has happened today I can’t count on anything until it happens.
