Another ‘At First’ Day

Unfortunately, I only got about six hours of sleep last night. I don’t know how that happened. It just did happen that way. That isn’t what this blog entry is about, though. Six hours isn’t a lot of time for getting a good night’s sleep. But it’s not that bad either. Seven or eight hours is better, but six isn’t too bad.

This blog entry is about what happened after I got up today. today, I got up early so my brother and I could return to our old place. At first, it was probably going to be an all-day event. But now it wasn’t. I figured I would return to our new place with more than enough time to finish writing my second Short Story for this month.

I got my second Short Story for this month written today. Not only that, but I created it and entered this contest too. But I didn’t think that I would get it done today. I thought I was only returning to our old place for a few hours. Those few hours ended up being about twice as long as I thought.

As a result, I only had about three hours to finish writing this Short Story. That should have been plenty of time to write about two hundred words, and it was, but I still had a little bit of a problem doing it. After coming home my brother and I still had a couple of things we needed to do. Luckily, it didn’t take too long to do it.

Before doing what my brother and I also needed to do today, I did have some time to work on this second Short Story. Unfortunately, it was only about a half hour. So, I didn’t get too far with it before we had to leave again. Luckily, I didn’t have a problem starting this tenth section/part. Unfortunately, I only got a couple of paragraphs written.

I still had about one hundred and fifty words left before I could finish writing this part/section and this Short Story. And I only had about two hours to finish writing it. That’s more than enough time to finish writing it, and it was. As I wrote above, I not only finished writing this Short Story but I created and entered this contest too.

Now that I’m done writing my short stories for this month what will I do now? Tomorrow I’m returning to working on my scriptwriting projects. That’s another reason why I created and posted this Short Story today. I could have waited until tomorrow to do it. but I wanted to start tomorrow by returning to my Water Wars scriptwriting project.

It has taken me almost two weeks to finish writing these two short stories. Now it’s time to return to working on my scriptwriting projects. So, I probably won’t be writing any blog entries in this blog for another two or three weeks. But I will be writing in this blog soon. I’m just not sure if it will be one or two short stories next month.
