A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Maybe Fifteen Again Another late start in getting started writing this Scene Outline today. It wasn’t too much of a late start, though. It’s true, I didn’t get started really working on the Scene Outline for Part One of my Water Wars Movie Introduction until about three PM my time. But that isn’t when I started working on my Water Wars scriptwriting project. I only had about an hour to kill after I woke up today. So, I didn’t have too much time to work on this project. But I did have enough time to get two paragraphs written before my brother and I started doing what we needed to do today. That left thirteen to write in about four hours. At first, I didn’t think I would get more than eight more paragraphs written on this Scene Outline. And that’s if I was lucky. Not only did I get eight more paragraphs written today, but I also got five more written for a total of fifteen. Why didn’t I think I would only get ten paragraphs written instead of the fifteen I did get today? It’s because I know what I wanted to write in these paragraphs because of my single-sentence Scene Outline. But I didn’t know how to get it started. Once I figured that out, the rest of these paragraphs almost wrote itself. That didn’t happen with every paragraph. But it did most of them. Yesterday, I had some problems with my Establishing Shots. I didn’t have that problem with them today because I didn’t have any Establishing Shots. What slowed me down today were numeric scene numbers. At least they are numeric with my Scene Outlines. That isn’t true with my scripts. After all, there are no numeric scene numbers in my scripts. Whether I have Establishing Shorts or just numeric scenes or both, it looks like I may be getting about fifteen paragraphs a day written for this project. I hope that is true. If it is, I may get these Scene Outlines written in about twelve days to eighteen days. Tomorrow morning my brother and I are returning to our old place to get some more things. We were going to rent a truck and get everything back to our new place tomorrow. But we couldn’t do it financially. So, we are returning to get as much as we can in our car again. We shouldn’t be gone too long. I should have plenty of time for writing. After all, my brother and I are starting early tomorrow morning. So we should be back between noon and one PM my time, two PM at the most. That should give me several hours to work on this project. Hopefully, I can get another fifteen or more paragraphs written tomorrow too. |
