Passing The Time
Home Ownership is a never ending battle, just like weeding, the work is never done. When you finish one project there's always another waiting in the wings for your attention. At this time we're getting ready to have the inside of our house painted. Our painter told us it would be three or four weeks before he can get started. We are having both the cabinets, fireplace, ceiling and walls painted. My wife has already begun emptying the closets and has cleared the hall closet with all the linens. She has done the same in the guest bathroom, and another hall closet that had all the glass wear and liquor and other items, we also have the service porch with cabinets above the washer and dryer that have been completed. We purchased 15 large U-Haul moving boxes of which 6 have been filled and we are now tackling the kitchen cabinets, once done that should complete the cabinets.

Nothing like staying busy, to pass the time!

Now that the weather is turning nicer we are spending more time on the patio, actually I should say I'm spending more time because Lou is always on the patio when she can be. Mainly because she smokes and doesn't do so in the house.
While on the patio we enjoy watching the humming birds coming to the feeders we have 3 up most of the time but will put up a forth one when one is about to be emptied. I also like watching the sky, you can catch passenger planes. You can't hear them and they appear out of no where. You're looking out at the blue sky then all of a sudden plane appears. These planes are coming out of Ontario and Los Angeles and you can't see them coming they just show up. You can watch them for a few moments but then there gone! I lean back in my chair and rest my neck on the cushion and watch away. A simple way to pass the time of day.

I'm trying to learn how to better allocate my time, when it comes to writing on WDC, As my last post stated I exiled myself to just writing in my blog and maybe writing some new stories. I have stuff I've written in the past, that at one time, I had posted, but when I left I deleted all that I'd written. I was surprised when I came back my blogs were all still there, but alas what I deleted is gone. I'm hoping to start writing new stuff, I know I can but I need to make myself do it. Everybody has other things that occupy their time, so I'm no different. I guess it boils down to how much to I want to create? Thinking of the past is fine but you don't want to live in the past, I want to move forward.

So much for now - Remember
Life is Good and God is Great
