Four Establishing Shots and One Flashback
Four Establishing
Shots and One Flashback

I had another flashback scene that turned out to be three scenes combined with the flashback scene in the middle. This one involved Chaad and his explanation for the Act Two cliffhanger. If I remember correctly, the last flash involved Reen. I think that one was scene twenty. This one was scene five. That’s why I had twenty-one paragraphs written today.

Out of those twenty-one paragraphs, I had four Establishing Shots and two extra for the flashback scenes. Combine them with the fifteen numeric scenes, and I get twenty-one paragraphs that I got written today. That also means I got halfway through Act Four of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. I only have fifteen more paragraphs to end this Act.

Will I get my fifteen-scene paragraphs written tomorrow? I hope that I can. If it’s anything like today, I may get more than fifteen paragraphs written tomorrow. But it’s a Monday. So, I may not get fifteen paragraphs written tomorrow. I may be lucky if I get ten paragraphs written.

Why did I get so many scenes written today? It’s because my brother is a Sports Fanatic. Our hometown team, the Chiefs, played today at about four thirty PM WDC time. So, we didn’t go anywhere today. We had a few things we needed to do. But we didn’t because of football.

What does that mean for my Part One Scene Outline? It means I had about six hours to work on it. That also means I got three to four paragraphs written per hour during those six hours. I did have some problems with writing these twenty-one paragraphs. Especially, the three paragraphs for Act Four, Scene Five because of using Chaad’s name three times.

I like to leave at least two paragraphs or sentences before I repeat a word to start it. That couldn’t be done with Act Four, Scene Five today. I’m having problems doing that right now with this blog entry. Only this time it’s a sentence instead of a paragraph. I am fairly good at not repeating paragraphs, but not as good at sentences.

I’m getting better at sentences too not repeating too soon. But I still have problems sometimes. Like I did with Act Four, Scene Five today. I start each scene with the name of the character for that scene. But I couldn’t do that with Act Four, Scene Five because I would be repeating Chaad.

Hopefully, I can get another fifteen to twenty paragraphs written tomorrow. but I won’t count on that until it happens. After all, tomorrow is a Monday. And there are usually a lot of things my brother and I need to do on a Monday. Especially, if my brother’s money comes in tomorrow.
