Why I Write

I write for various reasons. It started out, like you said, as getting good grades in school. English, Social Studies, History, and other classes where good writing was important.

I've enjoyed Writing.Com entering writing contests of different styles in order to win prizes. I've also enjoyed reviewing (giving and receiving) where I hope to express myself clearly with the written word. It is also entertaining to do puzzles and word searches. I hope to learn to express myself without stumbling in my writing. Those are my goals for now.
