Either Short Story

I was wrong again. But it’s a good kind of wrong this time. What I’m trying to say is that after I posted my latest blog entry, I checked the prompt for my second Short Story for this month and it was there. It didn’t take me too long to remember a Short Story that fits this prompt either. Unfortunately, that’s all I did yesterday and today.

Before I went to sleep last night, I had it all written in my head. Unfortunately, I haven’t had the time to work on it. Well, that isn’t exactly true. I did have a few minutes to kill today. So, I set up a Word Document for it. But I only Copied and Pasted this prompt to this Word Document. I also gave this prompt a title.

Unfortunately, that’s all I had the time to do today. I know that I keep saying my WDC Short Story takes priority, and it does. But I didn’t have time to work on it today. All I had was about a half hour. So, I did what I said in my blog yesterday if I only had about an hour to work on my writing, I would use it for my second Short story.

My WDC Short Story for this month is still a top priority. But I didn’t have the time to work on it or my second Short Story for this month. Why didn’t I have the time to work on either one of these short stories today? What is the usual reason why I don’t get any writing done in a day or not as much writing as I thought I would get?

That’s right, it’s because of what my brother and I had to do today. And we had a lot that we needed to get done today. Usually, my brother and I don’t have that much to do on a Thursday. But today we did, and it took us almost the whole day before we were done doing it. As a result, I only had time to start my second Short Story Word Document.

Hopefully, tomorrow will be a hundred percent better than today. Not with my second Short Story this month, but with my WDC Short Story. I will write my second Short Story. But only after I finish writing my WDC Short Story. Hopefully, I will get them both done within about a week or two. After today, I may be lucky if I get my WDC Short Story written.

I thought that this blog entry would be a short one, maybe even one of my shortest. After all, I didn’t have anything to write about. But I was wrong about that too. Another good kind of wrong though. Hopefully, tomorrow and beyond won’t be like today and I will get both of these short stories written in the next few days for each one.
