Fifteen Today, Fifteen Tomorrow
Fifteen Today,
Fifteen Tomorrow

A late start today meant that I would be lucky if I got ten paragraphs written for Part Two of my Scene Outline for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. At least that’s what I thought I would get written today. After all, I only had about four hours to work on this project today.

It usually takes me about an hour and a half to two hours for every five paragraphs I write during that time. That’s about eighteen minutes to twenty-four minutes for these five paragraphs. It all depends on what kind of interruptions I get from my brother as to how long it takes for me to write these paragraphs.

Of course, it also depends on how long these paragraphs are. If it’s an Establishing Shot there are four lines per paragraph. Four lines for the twos, fours, sevens, and nine scene paragraphs. The five lines are for the ones, threes, sixes, and eights scene numbers. And the six lines are for the fives and tens numeric scenes.

Today, I didn’t have any Establishing Shot paragraphs. The paragraph lengths were between two four-line paragraphs, two five-line paragraphs, and one six-line paragraph. With these line lengths, I should have gotten them written in about fifteen minutes for each one. But I didn’t. It took me about eighteen to twenty-four minutes per paragraph.

If I’m having a good day, I can get these paragraphs written in about fifteen minutes for each one. But today wasn’t a good day for me. After all, it took me about eighteen to twenty-four minutes to write them. Why did it take me so long to write them today?

I don’t know the answer to the above question because I don’t know why it took me so long to write them. All I do know is that I didn’t get started working on this project until about four PM WDC time. That’s why I thought I would be lucky if I got ten of them written today.

Luckily, I was wrong about that. I got fifteen paragraphs written today on this Scene Outline. That means I only have fifteen paragraphs to write tomorrow to finish writing this Scene Outline and Movie Introduction for my Water Wars television series. Will I get that many paragraphs written tomorrow? I sure hope that I do.

As far as I know, my brother and I only have a few things we need to do tomorrow. And they should be done by early tomorrow afternoon. If that’s true, I should get these fifteen paragraphs written tomorrow. I may even have some time to start working on Episode One tomorrow too. But I won’t count on that happening until it does.
