Why Do You Follow Christ?
Prompt: Why do you follow Christ?

I was raised on Christ. My grandmother took me to Church. I learned about Jesus. The earth didn't get here by itself. I don't believe in science and their views on how the earth got here. God made it. We pray and prayers get answered. Not right away. We have to be patient. I have heard God and Jesus talk to me. Not a lot but I know it was them talking to me.Grandmother says someone called her name and woke her up. She believes it was Jesus. She died a few days later. Jesus was calling her home.

We start believing in Jesus when we are kids. The world isn't a nice place and we have to have hope. That hope is Jesus. We believe in history books. The Bible is history and it is about life before Jesus, during Jesus's time and after Jesus. There was life before us. Jesus and God are in charge.

Why do I follow Christ? He is there for us. Look at world. Read the Bible. Feel his presence. Feel his love. I got baptized. I felt his presence. I go to Christmas Communion. It is private and individual. This is where I feel closer to Jesus. Praying in a chapel or Church. He is there. If we don't have Jesus and God, we got no one on our side. I follow Christ. I need something to keep me from falling apart. I choose Jesus. I love him and follow him.
