Power of Love

Power of Love

Yesterday's song soothing and inspiring
is still ringing in my heart and mind
carrying me through the unknown,

moving me to tears of joy
surprising me to my own sensitivity.

Its overflowing sweetness,
pushes me to by pass
useless meanderings,
futile tears and meaningless musings
signifying nothing.

I hum to its beat all along
the paths of reality and imagination
never losing to the ephemeral, the illusory.

Joyously, I offer my heart-felt gratitude
to the ways of constant love shown by God.
