It May Be Friday at Work

I don’t want to spend my first night at work finishing up this WDC Short Story. It is already starting to look like that may be what I will need to do this month. After all, I still have eight more Sections left to write before I return to work this Friday.

Unfortunately, I only have two Parts written for my WDC Short Story for this month. This means I have eight more Sections to write in the next three days to finish this Short Story before I return to work this Friday. That’s almost three Parts daily, and how it has been going the last few days sounds doubtful.

Of course, it’s possible I could write three Sections daily over the next three days. But I don’t think it will happen because of the last few days. I only wrote about half a Part yesterday and around a Section and a half today. Why didn’t I get more written in the last couple of days?

What is the usual reason I don’t get too much writing done in a day? That’s right, it’s because of what my brother and I had to do today. It was a little better than yesterday, but it still took us most of the afternoon before we finished doing what we needed. Unfortunately, I only had about two hours to work on the WDC Short Story today.

Two hours isn’t a lot of time, so I’m not surprised I only finished the second half of the first Part and the second Section. I hoped I would write another Part today, but that didn’t happen. I was lucky to have written Section Two today.

I wasn’t sure I would write Part Two today, but I did get it. That’s the good news. The bad news is that I have eight more Sections left before I finish writing this WDC Short Story, and I only have three more days to write it before I return to work this Friday evening at eleven PM WDC time. That’s why I’m doubtful I will get it done by then.

I can finish writing this WDC Short Story before I return to work this Friday. I can write three Parts daily. My brother and I have a few things we need to do tomorrow, but I don’t think we have too much, if anything, to do this Thursday and Friday.

As I wrote in the paragraph above, my brother and I have a few things we need to do tomorrow. I don’t think it will take us too long to accomplish them. I should have plenty of time to work on this WDC Short Story. I don’t know if I can write three more Sections tomorrow, but maybe I can write two Parts tomorrow.
