Had to Go Cold Turkey
Had to Go Cold Turkey

This blog will be two days long, after all. I was hoping I could finish writing my WDC Short Story for this month today, but I couldn’t. I only had two more sections left to write, about four hundred words. I should have gotten these two Sections today, but I didn’t. Unfortunately, I know why I barely got them written today.

I did get them written today, but I had to go Cold Turkey to accomplish it. Grammarly Pro doesn’t understand what I mean by ‘Cold Turkey.’ It’s more of a title than anything else, but Grammarly Pro doesn’t understand that. It wants me to put a ‘to’ before ‘Cold.’ I keep dismissing it, but every time I go ‘Cold Turkey,’ it returns.

Cold Turkey isn’t the only title that Grammarly Pro doesn’t understand and acknowledges. I have dismissed many others, only to return to them every time I use them. I know why Grammarly Pro is doing this. Grammarly Pro wants me to be like every other writer, and it looks like that’s what they will get whether I like it or not.

Why did I barely get these last two Sections written before finishing my WDC Short Story for this month? What is the typical reason I don’t have the time to devote to my writing? That’s right, it’s because of what my brother and I had to do today. Today hasn’t been a typical Monday. It has been a lot worse than that.

When my brother and I finished what we had to do today, I only had about two and a half hours to finish writing this WDC Short Story. The only way I might have finished it was to go Cold Turkey. Unfortunately, I barely got them written anyway. I haven’t had the time to create them yet. That’s not all I didn’t have the time to do today.

I also didn’t have the time to write the Shameless Plug Page, the Please Review Page, or the My Notebook Update today. I will have to do those tomorrow after I create this Short Story. I hope that I can do all this tomorrow. After what happened today, I won’t count on that until it happens. Tomorrow could be another today.

As far as I know, my brother and I don’t have too much to do tomorrow. I know we need to do a few things, but I don’t think it will take long to accomplish them. If that’s true, I should have plenty of time to write a Shameless Plug Page, a Please Review Page, and a My Notebook Update after I create this Short Story.

This should be a two-day blog posting, but I won’t count on that until it happens. After all, I have thought that way numerous times, only for something to happen that prevents it from happening my way. I hope that it will happen this way. I may have time to return to my ‘Only My Scriptwriting’ blog tomorrow if it does.
