Blog Prompt: What helps you to avoid giving into temptation?


Answer: Prayer. A lot of Prayer. LOL Also having scriptures memorized to recall during times of need helps too. Sometimes, I just have to take some deep breaths. The thing I believe I struggle most with is when it comes to my temper. I have a tendency to want to run my mouth and be extremely sarcastic.


Prayer prompt: Pray that God will make you look more like Jesus.
Dear God,
Please help me and the other Christians here on WDC to look more like Jesus. Help us to be a good witness and to share your love with others.

Write about your favorite book, story, or poem.

How about I write about a book series? My favorite series is House of the Winslow series written by Gilbert Morris. He is my favorite author too. I also love his Lion of Judah series. He is a Christian Historical fiction writer. It is hard to choose just one of his books for a favorite.

I guess you could also say I love to read and study the Bible. For the record, I also love to learn about other religions too.

Determination- It's a big word. I have had to have a lot of it. I have had to face a lot of roadblocks and obstacles in my life. I wish I knew more about living your life intentionally instead of by chance in my younger years. I think I could have made it had I known that was an option. However, unfortunately I did not. However, I have learned a lot over the years. I wish I'd known then what I know now. Life might have been a bit more successful for me.
