*Dove*

When comes the time,
For me to go,
My destination,
I don't know.

I suspect,
The way I cope,
My heart speaks,
Therefore I hope.

There is a promise,
I've been told,
To which I cling,
Tighter than gold.

The end will descend,
As a snow-white dove,
With the gift of peace,
And the gift of love.
