Looking Forward To Christmas
Are you ready for Christmas? For my wife and I, we are. Three of our children will be joining us for the Happy Day along with one Grandchild. It's always nice to have family come and be together for the Holidays. We've had the Christmas Dinner for the last 11 years or so. We'll be missing one son, he and his wife are very busy going to Laughlin, then down to Mexico and a trip to the Caribbean. Busy life and we wish them well and good times.

Our house is decorated with a (imitation tree) but nicely decorated, and the mantel has a string of garland and lights along with 3 metal Reindeer's, 4 wooden pine trees, 2 stockings hung on the mantel, 1 Santa and 1 stuffed bear and a big holly wreath above. We have book shelf below our TV and sitting on top are 2 metal deers, a Santa Sleigh and another small pine tree and a night light. We have a total of 3 wreaths hung in the house. Outside we have white lights over the doorway entry and then looped over the brick wall around to the gate. Out front we have a wooden fence that is western style with posts and 2 rails about 2 feet apart around a portion of the yard. It also has colored lights looped between the posts and it looks good. My wife is the creator of these designs both inside and outside of the house. A special woman and one I love!

My wife and I just completed a path from the patio to the picnic table which is about 16 feet and we laid 8 2 x2' pavers. This is something she wanted and I helped a little. I picked the pavers from Home Depot and each time I asked for help loading on the dolly used to move them from were they were picked up and taken to my car. At 77 I no longer have the strength to handle them by myself. I helped my wife by getting them to the place in the back yard but she moved them sometimes by herself and regretted it the next day because her body was aching but it didn't stop her she was back at it the next day. Project completed!

It's time to call it quits for the night

Life is Good and God is Great
