Christmases and Birthdays

Prompt: Write about Birthday celebrations and how your Christmas celebration is different or similar to your own Birthday celebration or that of friends and loved ones.

My Birthday is four days before Christmas but I had my parents, son and his wife, her parents and my husband's parents over for my Birthday and Christmas. We exchanged Christmas gifts and I got double gifts. We had a meal and Dairy Queen Cake. My daughter-in-laws father died and and so did my husband's parents, so the parties got smaller. My son moved to Oregon with his wife and the celebration were my husband, me and my parents. My father died and now it is just Mom, my husband and I. Mom always made a Christmas Dinner. Now, we cut out my Birthday celebration and just have Christmas dinner and exchange gifts. My Birthday is four days away from Jesus's Birthday and I feel happy about that. I always remember Jesus when ever I celebrate Christmas and my Birthday.
