Adjusting Part One and Two

Unfortunately, I only got twenty-four paragraphs written at work yesterday evening and overnight this morning. It should have been about double that between forty and fifty. Why didn’t I get more written yesterday evening and overnight this morning? Part of that reason is the weather. But most of it is because of me.

I needed a slight adjustment while writing the paragraphs for Act Four and the Tag Act of the Part One Story Outline for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Two scenarios happened in these two Acts: one was for their first Threat, and the other was for them losing control of their new InWaterStructure.

The one about losing control was for Chaad. It needed to be resolved first. The one about their first Threat was for Suuri. Part One of the Movie Introduction for this project features Chaad. Part two features Suuri. I had to adjust Act Four and the Tag Act for Part One. That’s why I only got twenty-four paragraphs written today.

I only had about ten hours to work on this project anyway. But that averages about two or three paragraphs every hour, six at two an hour and four at three. I should have written more. But because of the adjustments, I didn’t get more paragraphs written yesterday evening or overnight this morning. That’s not good writing for me.

Even with the adjustments for Part One, I still ended that Part. I started the Part Two adjustments but didn’t get too far with them, and I only had about a half hour to work on them. I will continue working on them tonight. I don’t know if I will have time to work on the Part Two Story Outline, but I hope I do.

Because of the rewriting, I did for Act Four and the Tag Act for Part One of this television series, it was probably closer to about thirty paragraphs written early this morning. That’s a little better than twenty-four, but not too much better, considering this was a twelve-hour shift. Better is better, though.

With only a six-hour shift tonight, I may be lucky if I finish the adjustment for Part Two tonight. Of course, I would like to start writing the paragraphs for Part Two, but I need to adjust the Scene Outline and Story Outline first. If I have the time to do that, I will also start writing the paragraphs.
