Dumb Thoughts!

Chicken Soup.

Egon sips his chicken soup at a diner.
He is seated at a table with his back to the wall.
He has just put unsalted crackers on his soup.
A young man approaches his table.

"I going to shoot you." the young man says.
Egon stops sipping his soup and looks directly at the young man.
"Why?" Egon asks.
The young man reaches into his pants and shoots himself in the leg.

He falls back into the bench opposite Egon.
A slender young waitress runs over to help the young man.
"I need a doctor!" the young man cries.
"I am a doctor." replies Egon.

"Not you! You gave me a sex change!" the young man cries.
"Oh..." Egon remembers Elizabeth, "That's why you want to shoot me."
The young man nods as the waitress calls an ambulance.
"I can change you back." Egon replies.
The young man cries.
