About an Hour and a Half

It’s that time of day again when I either don’t write a blog entry for that day or miss another blogging day. I don’t want to miss another blogging day. That means I have no choice but to write this no matter how I feel. That’s part of my problem. I don’t know why I’m feeling this way.

It should be because of a lack of sleep. I have gotten at least eight hours in the last few days, but that shouldn’t be the answer. What is the answer? Why am I feeling so tired? Is it because I’m fighting another cold and losing? All that I know is that I didn’t get any paragraphs written for the Part Two Story Outline today.

The only reason I may feel this way is the weather. It has been bitterly cold the last several days, and we have also had to deal with a snowstorm and its aftermath. I often have problems with my writing during the cold months of the year, but not as bad as this winter.

It’s not only the weather or my lack of sleep. It’s also because of what my brother and I had to do today. We didn’t have much to do today, but what we did need to do took us most of the day. Some of that was because of the cold weather, but not all of it. It’s not all bad news. I did have about an hour and a half in which I could have gotten some writing done.

If I had taken that hour and a half to write some paragraphs for this Water Wars scriptwriting project, I would have only written about five or six paragraphs. I know what everyone says. Even five or six paragraphs are better than none. I agree with that, but not today.
