A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Eleven to End Act Three I only needed eleven paragraphs today to finish Act Three of the Part One Scene Outline for my DeathBringers scriptwriting project. Unfortunately, those are the only paragraphs I got written on this project, and I barely got them written before I wanted to start working on this blog entry. Why didn’t I get more written on this scriptwriting project? What is the usual reason why I don’t get more written in a day? That’s right, it’s because of what my brother and I needed to do today. That’s part of the reason, but that’s not the only one. There are two reasons why I didn’t get more written today. One reason is the amount of time I had to work on this project. I only had about three hours to work on this Scene Outline. Which means I did average about four paragraphs every hour. That’s good writing for me. I could have gotten a few more paragraphs written today if not for the second reason why I didn’t get any more writing done today. It was because of my new laptop. No, I haven’t had any more problems with it physically, but it did have some problems because of my Shortcut Keys. I use Shortcut Keys for my Scene Headings, Action Descriptions, Character Names, Character Directions, Dialogue, and now Normal. I didn’t have any of them when I started working on this project today. I had to go in and set them up again. It didn’t take me too long to do it, but it did stop me from writing some. I only needed to set up my Shortcut Keys for my Scene Headings and Action Descriptions today, but I decided it wouldn’t hurt to set it up for my Normal Style Guide. While I was finishing up with those three, I decided to do the other three too. After all, it didn’t take too long to do them. Between the Shortcut Keys problem and the amount of time I had to work on this project today, I only got eleven paragraphs written today on the Part One Scene Outline. I was hoping that I would have gotten a few more written today, but eleven is good enough for me. Unfortunately, this will probably be the last day I have to work on this project. After all, I return to work tomorrow night at eleven PM WDC time. This means I return to working on my Scene Outlines for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. I usually don’t have any time to also work on this project. |
