Carry You Home by Alex Warren
"Note: 48-HOUR CHALLENGE : Media Prompt Deadl..."

I like this one. It speaks of loyalty and priorities in the long term. He is promising that he will always prioritise the relationship, even as they grow older. He looks the sort who'll remember that promise when the time comes! *Wink*

The song speaks simply, but speaks of things that couples who apparently fall 'head over heels' in love 'at first sight' need to think about. If committing to someone, it's not all about flowers, chocolates or even diamonds. It's about the idea of 'us', 'we', taking responsibility for doing stuff together over the years. It's about meeting each other halfway if there is a difference of opinion, it's about trust, caring and sharing.

The visuals are simple and appealing, too. The joy of being together, of being wrapped up in one another.

Yep, I like this one.

(PS '55 years' reminded me of my parents. They got married in 1961 and Mom passed away in 2006. They didn't make it to their 50th anniversary, and that was a disappointment for Dad.)
