When storms swirl around me, hiding His face I'll cling to my umbrella and also my faith. I know not what the future may hold for me But I know Who holds my future securely. When sunshine is warm and the greenery thrives I won't forget Him who brought me out alive. Seeking His face, opening His Holy Book I will find light no matter how dark it looks. I'll dance between raindrops, singing at midnight I'll dance in His grace, fill my heart with His light. No more thunderstorm clouds holding me captive I sail o'er green waves with my Shepherd and Captain. 12 lines, rhyming couplets, 11 syllables each. Prompt:  |
