3 John 1:2 - Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.

I think that God wants us to be in good health, but I also think that He is more interested in our soul's well being. As spiritual beings, we can be without an earthly vessel, but what if our soul is damaged beyond repair?

Luke 9:25, Jesus asks, "What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit their very self?" [soul]

In 2 Corinthians 12:7, Paul writes that to prevent him from becoming conceited due to the revelations he received, God gave him "a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me". To keep him humble before the Lord.

I think that this is possible. This is just my opinion.
