Almost Done in One Day

Despite a rocky start at my new post, I managed to get almost all of my WDC Short Story for this month finished. I got nine Sections written early yesterday evening and overnight early this morning. That only leaves me three more Parts to write before I finish writing this WDC Short Story.

What do I mean by a ‘rocky start?’ I mean, this post isn’t what I expected it to be. First of all, the Guard Shack, where I’m most of the time, is a bad joke. There is no lock on my door. There’s also no restroom. I had to walk up to the main building to use the restroom, and I had a hard time finding it.

I also had a hard time checking into this new post. I emailed my Human Resources Manager to find out how I was supposed to do that. Even after she told me how to do it, I still couldn’t do it. The automated system did it for me. Now I think I can do it on my own.

I will find out if I can do it on my own in about an hour. That’s when I will get off work. That’s right, I’m writing this blog entry from work. I could have probably gotten one more Section written today, but I decided writing three Parts tomorrow instead of two was better. Besides, after the night I had here, I thought this was better.

I usually write these blog entries after I get home from work before I go to sleep. I don’t post them until just before I go back to work if I go back to work that day. Today is one of those days that I will be going back to work later on today.

I also had a big problem with my training that I didn’t get when I came in a half hour early. That’s not all. I was told there wouldn’t be any trucks coming in on the weekend. I have had about a dozen of them. Several had problems. After all, the office is closed until Monday morning. I didn’t know what to tell them.

The good news is that I got almost all of this WDC Short Story finished today. The bad news is where my new post is. I thought my old post was bad. This one is a lot worse than the old post. There’s also good and bad news about later on today when I come back to work.

The good news is that I will be working on my Water Wars scriptwriting project tomorrow. After all, I only have three more Parts before I finish writing this WDC Short Story. The bad news is that I will be writing two blog entries on Monday. One blog entry for my ‘Only My Scriptwriting’ blog and one for this blog.
