Into the Wind

The Snow Outside is Glistening

In the depths of falling snow
Lies a place that few know
Where the fairies come to play
In a glistening sunshiny day

A slope so white that diamonds glisten
And the fae seldom listen
To the warnings of the gods,
Afterall , they're fae-- so what are the odds?

Then in a flash it melts away
Leaving play for another day
And tear streaked faces all forlorn
As winter blows its farewell horn
