Asp so deadly wrapped in warm copper tones
Baboons sitting on a rock grooming themselves
Cats both great and small little lords one and all
Donkeys, deer graceful creatures for food and more
Elephants never forget, clinging to the past even in today
Fish and newts and fur babies hold our fascination
Giraffes kick their newborn child until it runs out in the wild
Herring both in waters and literature, hide the flaws of others
Irritated king cobra waiting to strike the first hand it can
Jellyfish so poisonous float through the ocean
Koala's take care of their babies--unless there are two' then only one will do
Leopards play upon the Savannah basking in play and rest under timeless sun
Manatees are the seas gentle giants,
Nightingales whisper sweet songs play until daybreak
Octopus's ink stains clear blue waters
Pandas are cute but eat quite a lot, good thing bamboo grows so fast
Quail quiver as we hunt them in droves, even eating the eggs--oh we love those
Raging ravens signal the end, singing forever more till the end
Sea lions have grown aggressive over the years
Tasmanian devils stirring up dust
Unicorns dance in children's heads, stirring up magic
Vermin are just trying to stay alive, face so many challenges
Warbling warbills singing their song, afraid of no one
Xerus the simple African ground squirrel races up trees with his treasures
Yaks climb mountain sides, surefooted on the rocky terrain
Zebra with their Gemini stripes are individually marked--no two the same
