A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here.

Updating Water Wars for the Last Time
Updating Water
Wars for the Last Time

I know that I have updated my Water Wars scriptwriting project about a million times already. I also know that I have written this will be the last time that I will be updating it, but I think this will be the last time I do it. At least, I hope that it is.

I have always hated only one scene in the Teaser Act and the Tag Act for my secondary characters (Reen, Voonc, and Kiirra). True, this scene is exactly in the middle of these Acts, but it is still only one scene, and it is in the middle of these Acts. Now, it won’t be. Why is this updating happening again, hopefully for the last time?

While I was updating my DeathBringers scriptwriting project to the new Water Wars format because there is no longer a connection between my DeathBringers Movie Introduction and a Novel, it also got me thinking about my Water Wars scriptwriting project. That’s why I’m updating again.

The middle of these Teaser Acts and Tag Acts isn’t the only reason for this update. I also didn’t like the main character that began and ended each Act had a Scene Five and a Scene Ten next to each other. I also didn’t like that the other two main characters in these Acts didn’t have a Scene Five or a Scene Ten in that Act. Now, one of them does.

The only real difference between the new format and this newest format is that the number of scenes in every Act was more evenly matched. The Teaser Acts and the Tag Acts were even, with ten Scenes for the main characters and five for the secondary characters. The four main Acts are also different.

The four main Acts used to be twenty scenes for the main characters of Chaad, Suuri, or Hoolle, and the secondary characters had ten scenes for these Acts. Now, it’s jagged slightly, with eight scenes for the main characters and seven scenes for the secondary characters for the Teaser Acts and Tag Acts. The four main Acts are also different by one.

Now, the four main Acts have twenty-one scenes for the main characters and nine scenes for the secondary characters. These changes still equal one hundred scenes for the three main characters and fifty for the secondary characters. The storylines are still the same, though.

I have already started working on the spreadsheet for this update. That’s how I know each character will have at least two scenes for the Teaser Acts and the Tag Acts now. When I return to work in a few hours, I will continue to work on this spreadsheet. I don’t know how long it will take to update this spreadsheet. Hopefully, it won’t take too long.

The only drawback to this newest update is that the secondary characters don’t have any five or ten scenes. That’s okay, though. After all, the focus of this series is to focus on the main characters. The secondary characters are the fill-in characters for this series.
