A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here.

A Lot I Still Need I to Do
A Lot I Still to Do

A slight change in my updated Water Wars scriptwriting project spreadsheet. It doesn’t affect the rest of the spreadsheet with the total number of scenes for each of the six main characters or the total number of Scene Fives and Scene Tens each character has. It’s the beginning and end of each Act that I needed to change.

I was using two of the main characters to begin each Act and to end each Act. That’s okay for the four main Acts, but it’s not for the Teaser Acts or the Tag Acts, especially the two-part Movie Introduction. It’s okay this way for the individual Episode. I could still use this format for these Episodes, but I’m not doing that.

Why can’t I use two of the main characters to begin each Act and to end each Act? It’s because there is only one Scene between the last two characters from Part One of this Movie Introduction and the first two scenes from Part Two. I don’t mind if there’s an Act between characters, but I don’t like them being only one Scene or Act between them.

Now, this problem has been fixed in my newest spreadsheet for this project. However, I still have a lot that still needs to be done with this spreadsheet before I can start writing my sentences and paragraphs for my Act Breakdowns, my Story Outlines, and my Scene Outlines for these Parts and Episodes that this spreadsheet is being updated for.

I still have to verify that the number of scenes for each of the six main characters for these Parts and Episodes is the same for each one. I know that they are, but that’s not the main reason why I’m verifying them. It’s for the Act Breakdowns and the sentence Story Outlines. It helps me with my paragraph Outlines when I do this verification.

Hopefully, it won’t take all twelve hours of my shift later this evening and overnight early tomorrow morning to finish this spreadsheet, or longer than these twelve hours. The sooner I can get this spreadsheet done, the sooner I can start working on my Act Breakdowns, my Story Outlines, and my Scene Outlines for my Water Wars scriptwriting project.
