Into the Wind

Seasons of Delight

In the Spring, the world is new
And baby's breath dances on the dew
Newborn tantrums arrive fierce
And to the landscape changes pierce

Summer's heat burns and boils
Raindrops are few like precious oil
Aging trees set fire to leaves
Yet still offer homes to buzzing bees

Autumn's chill is rather welcome
And storms weaken in their outcomes
Fairies play in dampened gardens
A little magic seen through life's lense

Winter brings the cold and frost
The death of much as life is lost
Birds fly; south: the cold they fear
Waiting to come back in Spring next year
